I've posted photos of my host family above. My host father paused in his work of putting stucco on a brick shed so I could snap this photo. He not only built this shed himself, but the single-story apartment building where I live AND his two-story house! My host mother is happily holding her little grandson.
The best way to describe my 3 year old host sister would be "constantly cute". This picture was taken after her day with play makeup- she seemed happy with the results :-) She likes to tell me stories as she plays outside, and doesn't seem to mind that I don't understand any of them because of my limited Russian vocabulary! Like many three year olds, she thinks it's Daddy's job to use every free moment to play with her.
